Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you travel. Can’t find it? Just ask us.
Booking
A charter is the aircraft and crew for your route. A fly-in package bundles the flights with accommodation, game drives, park fees and transfers into one seamless trip — ideal for safaris and beach escapes.
For peak season (July–October) we recommend 6–12 months ahead, as the best camps and aircraft fill quickly. Off-peak, 2–4 months is usually comfortable — but we’ll always do our best at short notice.
On Safari
Yes. We operate with vetted, experienced crews and well-maintained aircraft to rigorous standards. Your pilot will brief you before every flight.
Charter
Often within hours. For ad-hoc transfers we can frequently turn a flight around same-day subject to aircraft and crew availability; for scenic flights and multi-leg itineraries we recommend a little more notice. Our charter desk is reachable 24/7.
It depends on the aircraft — our helicopters seat up to 6, the Caravan up to 12, the King Air up to 9, and jets vary. Tell us your group size and route and we’ll recommend the best option.
Charters are typically quoted per flight hour or per trip, including crew, and depend on the aircraft, routing, waiting time and any positioning legs. You’ll always receive a firm, all-in quote before you commit.
Light aircraft have weight and soft-bag restrictions — typically around 15 kg per passenger in soft holdalls. We’ll send exact limits for your aircraft, and can arrange storage for excess baggage.
Payments
We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. A deposit secures your booking, with the balance due before travel. Full details are included in your quote.
